Woodland Farm & Cottage is located three miles east of Middleburg, Virginia on John Mosby Highway Rt. 50. We offer year round full board equine services as well as a temporary boarding facilities for rescue horses.

Woodland Cottage was built in 2005 and Woodland Farm was established in 1999 by Don and Melinda Wooden who has a heart for horses that deserves a second chance. We started a small rescue with five horses, rehabilitating them to good health and finding good adoptable homes for them.

Enjoy the beauty of fall at Woodland Farm. Plenty of walking trails on gently rolling fields, mature forests, stone walls and streams.

Woodland farm sells, leases and adopts suitable ponies and horses for children and adults. See our "Horses for Sale" page. (This beautiful TB was injured on the track and was on a trailer headed for a slaughter house in Canada. Thanks to the US Equine Rescue League & Woodland Farm he was saved and brought here to be rehabilitated and adopted out.)
